So what’s in a name? Rozwadowski has never just rolled off the tongue. Even I had a hard time pronouncing it as a kid. One day I asked my Grandmother for help in pronouncing it. Of course, my Grandmother would always say it with the Polish inflections replacing the O sound with a short U, the first W with a V, and the second W with an F before blending it with the SKI. But she told me that it rhymed with RUBBERDUCKIE. I could say THAT! So I went back to school and proudly proclaimed my name as Tony Rubberduckie when roll call came around. Love and miss you Grandma.

Flash forward to college and I meet the only other Tony that I ever had a class with. A flamboyant Italian from Connecticut, Tony Bacchiocchi. Two Tonys with long last names that would never ever be considered twins, how on earth would people tell the difference? I know, let’s introduce Tony Rubberduckie and Tony BoxOChocolates to the world!

I dusted off a personal logo I did long ago, refining it slightly. It combines my love of comic books and retro atomic age design with a modern aesthetic. An updated name as a nod to my rubberduckie story and there you have Rozwaduckie Design LLC. It should be easy to remember and now easier to say. And if Tony Rozwaduckie sticks, I have another chapter to add to the rubberduckie story.
